EXERCISE

Week 1: Contrast
For the contrast, at first, I wanted to do a scenery but the sky and stars would look weird.
Fig. 1.1: Sketch 1
So, I decided to change subject, which ware animals. I chose between a fox and swan and I chosen the swan.

Fig. 1.2: Ideas
The fox was a simple design of it's head. The details were less as I could not think of an idea to make the fur looked more refined.

Fig. 1.3: Sketch 2
The swan has a lot of detail because of it's feather. I followed the flow of it's feather and it looked lik what I wanted.

Fig. 1.4: Sketch 4
This the final outcome of my swan. I used pen knife to cut out the swan and feathers and glue it on white paper.

Fig. 2.1: Finalize Design
And this is the resize the swan.

FEEDBACK

Week 1: No feedback.

Week 2: I was glad that Ms Sherry liked my design. She said it could be improved by making the swan smaller and slightly on the top. She also liked the water ripple, it makes the swan have movement.
