Lecture 4:
Week 4 (23/4/2019):
Before starting the class, Mr Martin gave a link address of a game while waiting for Mr Jefferey to come. The game was for us to practice our pen tool skills.
A link to the game:
https://bezier.method.ac/
It's a good game for us to practice and fun too, I also learn some new shortcut keys from it.
Change textures and hybrid animals
Stamp / Clone Stamping / Brush / Healing Brush / Spot Healing Brush / Mixing Brush
You will interchange the characteristics of a minimum of two animals. This could be a change of materials, swap of stripes or textures. You may go beyond and create a hybrid animal and include a third or even fourth characteristics (for example using a fruit texture to replace an animal’s skin). Google “Birds arms”.
Lecture 5:
Week 5 (30/4/2019): No lecture

I put the house on the island and made the colour of the house same as the background (Fig. 1.2).
Week 3
Exercise 3: Recolouring
This is the black and white photo that we had to re-colour using the brush tool, musking tool and blending modes.
This is the re-colour version I did and he looks fabulous.
I use the brush tool to colour the photo to the colours that I like and adjusted them with hue/saturation. Then, use the blending modes.
The second exercise is that we had to take a black and white photo that we had or we can get it from the internet.
I chose a photo that was taken from a school trip for street photography. The photo was over expose and had a lot of things going on but I want to colour it anyway. One of my friend is in the picture, it's the girl in the photo.
These are exercise 4c the first picture is a failed one because the feathers are unnatural and I decided to change it.

We had to recreate this image using our knowledge through the weeks we learnt.
I cropped the house from Fig. 1.1 and the rock from Fig. 1.2 then put it on a background and also added some birds.
I decided to change the background and added some cloud to look like it's a bit further.

FEEDBACK
Week 1: No feedback
Week 2: No Feedback
Week 3: Mr Jeffrey thought that the stain on the sign is distracting him but I can't do a thing as it is already in the image and Mr Martin agree with me. Then, said it is fine.
Week 4: Mr Martin said that Fig. 2.5 is better than the last one. It looked more natural.
Week 5: For Fig. 1, Mr Martin said that it doesn't looked believable because of the lighting and that the rock doesn't have a support to look likes it's floating. He advice me to either change the background or the castle.
