EXERCISE

Week 5 - Week 6: Alignment / Hierarchy / Direction / Perspective

Week 5 (1-2/5/2019): Since the lecture was postpone on May 1st and class was cut short on the second day, we only had critic session. The exercise is about alignment, hierarchy, direction and perspective, we had to use our own picture which we taken and edit it in Photoshop.

Week 6 (9/5/2019): We took some pictures on Campus since we weren't allowed to use photos from the Internet and photos from a long time ago.

These are some the photos that I took on campus. I chosen these to edit into Photoshop.

The person in cropped out from Fig. 1.2 and and background from Fig. 1.1. It was really simple to edit it but the person was a bit of a challenge to cropped out because she was standing next to a tree and the leaves was overlapping her head. So the image of her head wasn't really clear and I had to slightly paint her hair to look smooth.
This picture is to show perspective from the girl and alignment from the horizontal line of the background.

This photo is from Fig. 1.5 and Fig. 1.6. I readjust the colour of the PVC bird on the middle to have a warm and cold colour.
This is to show perspective, hierarchy and alignment.

The images are from Fig. 1.3 and Fig. 1.4. I had to paint over the building to remove them and if you see closely from Fig. 1.3 there is a vent on the fourth staircase, I also paint over it with the brush tool to blend it into the staircase. It looks like its going to a very high place like the mountains, hence the fog.
This image has perspective, alignment and direction.

FEEDBACK

Week 7 (15/5/2019): " It looks like a train track. No, a roller coaster....... to Heaven." from a classmate. Ms Sherry got a sense of hopelessness looking at it because she couldn't figure out where I took it and she said its good.
