15/5/2019 - 16/5/2019

Fig. 1.1: Sketch 1
A sketch of a starry night with building.
Fig. 2.1: Exploration 1
A picture of a bird that I found on the Internet and a flowers that I drew. I tried to use lines with all the things there and it turn out quite nice except the big flower that I didn't like. It looked messy because of the lines overlapping each other.
Fig. 2.2: Exploration 2
Another exploration that I tried. It has lines with different styles and dots.
Fig. 3.1: Final Design 1
This is a portrait of a starry night with building. Well, supposedly building but I didn't add the windows and it looked boxes of present. My friend said that if I draw a Christmas tree, it will looked like Christmas. The boxes have a lot of different lines.
Fig. 3.2: Close-up of Sky
If looked closely, the stars are made up of  lines and and the dots are also stars to make it looked far away.
Fig. 3.3: Final Design 2
I made another because I wanted to draw the building with window to compare it with the other and see if it looks nice. I has colourful friendly mountains, buildings and plants. I tried to add something to the sky, so I added lines and it looked like spider web. The bottom is the plats, the middle is buildings and mountains and the top is the clouds.
Fig. 3.4: Close-up of Building
The red and yellow mountain beside the pink and purple mountain has dots and lines. The bottom part are lines. The buildings has lines and some dots. The blue building on the middle has doted windows and the blue building on the right has cross lines.
Fig. 4.1: Finalize Design 1
Fig. 4.2: Close up
Now it is Christmas. The tree are mostly lines and one the the ornament is doted. the doted ornament is the one on the bottom right side of the candy cane.
Fig. 4.3: Finalize Design 2
I followed Ms Sherry's advice and coloured the sky with a sunset looked and it looks like the town is in snowglobe but it's not snowing, so it's in a display globe.

FEEDBACK

Week 8: For Fig. 3.3, Ms Sherry said that I should add colour to sky and that it seems interesting. A classmate said the drawing looked like it was visited by the Easter Bunny and that it was colourful. He also said that my sky is interesting because most people would use dots to express the sky and that mine was out of the box.
