PROJECT 1

Week 8 - Week 9:
Project 1 is due in two weeks and below are some of the sketches for the my self-portrait. At first, I couldn't have an idea of how I want to present myself in the portrait, I'm quiet and I like to observe things, I am also childish and playful in a way.
So I went online to search some inspirations.

This is about me having a serious face but inside my mind I might wonder off to a different place.

A sketch to show that I like flowers and cute things.

Week 10:

This is the final outcome, I used the first sketch that I was inspired by someone on the Internet.
This is to show that I see the world as something new to discover hence, the twisting leaves. The cat ears are to symbolize that I'm very curious and playful like a cat. The "cat ears" are a part of me but you can't physically see it.

FEEDBACK

Weel 11: Ms Sherry likes how I done with the colours and said that the portrait looks like me but doesn't because of how I added in my personality to the portrait. She and Ms Anis said that they could not see the cat ears because it was too subtle but my classmates could see the cat ears. Overall, they liked it.

I was inspired by this artwork from the Internet. She also has an Instagram account and her artworks are not bad. I assume her horns are to represent herself as mischievous and that she likes nature as there are leaves in the background.
