Assignment 1

Task 1: Photo Manipulation
Week 6
Fig. 1.1: Sketch 1 & 2
Fig. 1.2: Sketch 3 & 4
These are sketches of ideas that I have. In Fig. 1.1, the first sketch is and ice cube + aquarium while the second sketch is a cake + amusement park.
In Fig. 1.2, the top is a space whale + rabbit while the bottom is a combination of a snail and a clock.
In the end, I choose the aquarium ice cube. Mr Martin gave me the idea to put it inside a glass of water and if I want, I can add bubbles to make it into a fizzy drink to be an addition.

We are using After Effect to animate. Mr Jeffrey taught us how to use it and after some trials and error, I almost got the hang of it.

FEEDBACK

Week 6:
Mr Martin likes the sketches of 1,2 and 4 and said sketch 3 is too complicated and give up the idea.

Week 7:
Mr Martin and Mr Jeffrey said that it looks good but is missing something. They said it was the logic to it. I'm missing the refraction of the water. Mr Martin advise me to make the other ice different. They said they like the reflection that i did. They also said good attempt and would get 6 out of 10 in an industry level.

Week 8:
Mr Jeffrey said that he was deceived by my animated ice cube and likes it.
