Day 2 in Thailand, we visited Jim Thompson House. He was an American businessman who helped revitalise the Thai silk industry in the 1950s and 1960s but disappear on 1967 in Cameron Highland, Pahang, Malaysia.
His house was transform into a museum and still in production of selling Thai silk.
Afterwards, we visited the BACC (Bangkok Art & Culture Center) to look at fascinating pictures and sculptures.
We also found out that the dolls are from a temple called Wat Bua Khwan.

On our trip at Bangkok University, we had an open discussion with the lecturers of BU on our all of the topic of each groups.
Each groups shared their topic and the lecturers gave their opinion on them. Then comes our turn to share our topic, which was the Luk Thep doll.
The lecturers explained that the Luk Thep is not a mythology because it was a tread back then, now the craze have died down and most of them are now kept in a temple, the name of the temple is Wat Bua Khwan in Nonthaburi.
The lecturers also gave us some suggestion of a mythology of the hermits, which is about a forest monk and at first we thought it was a crab. They also explained that there is a temple for it, which was Wat Pho near the Grand Palace.
After researching about the hermits, we found out that they are monks with mystical powers and lives deep in the forest, mountain and caves.

On Friday, we went to the National Museum and Grand Palace. After exploring the National Museum and had a short break, we went to Wat Pho by texi.
Wat Pho is a big place. We had trouble finding want we want and someone we want to ask because the place was busy with a lot of people and it was a holiday for Thailand. A lot of people came for prayers and tourists walking around.
Some of the Lersi statues in Wat Pho.

After some time, we found a guide that could help us. We interview the guide for quite some time and got what we need.
This is the guide that we interviewed. He was an ex-monk and he has work at the temple for some years now.

REFLECTION
Experiences:
It was my first time going overseas and I was very excited yet nervous. I was nervous because I was afraid that I might get lost and excited because I was travelling with friends. I was also afraid about the virus going around but we wore our masks and stayed safe and cautious about our surroundings.
Observations:
Thailand has a lot of interesting things to look at. It had a lot of vintage trinkets and many temples.
Findings:
I like Thailand and going overseas now. Travelling gave me the chance to learn more things and a new perceptive about other counties.
