Final Project

Task 1: Recomposing Artwork
Week 9 - Week 10
Choose an surrealistic artwork from link provided below and recompose in Adobe Photoshop using Stock Imagery from such stock image foundries (the attached links).

Submission size: 1920 x 1080 or 1080 x 1920. Recomposing artworks not not within the ratio will require cropping/filling in gaps with content aware fill. Proportion of subject must be maintained!

Contemporary Surreal Artist in Instagram:

After looking through the Instagram accounts with the link, I finally chose an artwork to recompose. I chose an artwork by Nicole Watt. Her artworks are mostly sculptures. It looks eerie yet beautiful and at the same time, it has an air of mystery.
Fig. 1.2: TAPIOCA by @beeple_crap
I change to an artwork by Beeple after asking Mr Martin. His works are very detail and some have vibrant colours. I chose that artwork because it has a lively feeling and the colours are very bright and soft.
Fig. 2: Photoshopped and Enlarge
Since the size is too small, I have to enlarge it and that's the photoshopped artwork.

Fig. 3.13: Pirate Ship
Fig. 3.14: Palm Tree
These are my elements that I'll be using.

Week 11
Fig. 4.1: Attempt Final Design
This was the initial design of the project. I have the moon and the balloon blur because I want to have contrast between the castle and the moon, balloons and the sky. I also put some of my elements to make it looked more of my style.
Fig. 4.2: Final Project
I redid the castle's reflection on the water.

Task 2: Animating
Week 11 - Week 12
Fig. 6.1: Animating in AfterEffect
Fig. 6.2: Attempt Animating
Mr Jeffrey and Mr Martin to loop, I have to copy the first frame and paste them to the last frame.
This is the version with the balloons loop. I want to have the balloons to loop but I didn't want the ship to loop. If I loop the ships, it will move backwards.
This is the version without the loop. As Mr Martin thinks that if the balloons loop while the ships aren't looping, it will cause confusion.

FEEDBACK

Week 9:
Mr Martin advised me to choose another artwork because the one I chose has a dark background and not much to recompose. It also would not bring out much potential of my skills, if I want to recompose it.

Week 10:
(E-Week)

Week 11:
Mr Jeffrey and Mr Martin said that it is good but the reflection on the sea of the castle is not the same.

Week 12:
Mr Jeffrey and Mr Martin said that it looks okay but there is an issue with the loop that would create confusion.

Week 13:
Mr Martin said the animation is quite nice but if the ships are moving up would be nicer but since the original position of the ships were like that it can not be done. The ships are at the edge of the frame already.

Week 14:
Mr Jeffrey said that it' oaky okay and celebrated.
