INSTRUCTION

EXERCISES

Week 1

Video

Stop Motion Review
Mr Martin asked us to find 3 of our favourite/liked stop motion video on YouTube/Online.

1. The Maker - Christopher Kezelos

This video is about a strange creature creating life with music that was worth it's time. It has beautiful music, a good plot and a good background details. I liked the details they put in the characters, background and the props they used.

2. Negative Space - Jason Sondhi

In this video is about a neat and tidy guy that loves his father. He remembers how his father taught him to fill up all the empty spaces in a luggage. I like how the animation is smooth and the narration was a perfect fit for the plot. The plot is interesting and is methodically spoken. It has a low-key darkness in the plot.

3. Shaun The Sheep - Nick Park

A childhood favourite of mine, it is about a clever and mischievous sheep that lives at Mossy Bottom Farm with his flocks, that is located in the northern area of England. It is also from the same creator of Wallace and Gromit. I like the plot of the story, which is a comedy series of Shaun and his friends in their everyday life. I also like the animation of it, even without a line of speech, we can easily understand what they are trying to express through actions and observation.

Video Editing
Mr Martin gave us some clips to cut some scenes using Adobe Premiere Pro to help get started with the software.

We continue to cut the video into 50 seconds.

Sound
Our first exercise from Mr Razif is about testing our hearing. We were given some audio files and our exercise is to imitate the original sound and try to make it the same with the sound. Each audio was different.

Week 3:
Mr Razif told me that my EQ 5 is wrong and my EQ 6 is almost correct and to re-edit it.
