Project 2: The Troublemakers Manifesto Colloquium - Collateral
Static typography stays in one place, it is mainly used in printing while kinetic typography is moving typeface. Environmental typography employs architectural elements using trees, balls and others. 3D typography adds extra depth for display option. The differences between virtual reality and augmented reality is that virtual reality is the medium of virtual reality to interact using a headset while augmented reality gives us the opportunity to interact space using our hand held devices.
The font size is around 30 pt and it is too big.
Week 8
I resize the font after the feedback.
These are the designs of the tote bag and t-shirt.
Week 9:
Mr Vinod told me that to put more effort on my illustration.

FEEDBACK
Week 7:
General Feedback:
For exercise, Mr Vinod said to us to make an outline around the typographic system artwork and make sure that the embedded PDF visible to see while for exercise 2, we have to make sure the letters are on a baseline with the JPEG and PDF.
Specific Feedback:
Mr Vinod said to work on the key artwork because the problem is the picture is from other people's work.
I like the effect, I like the effect on the typo and drawing but the idea is does not much reflect the idea behind troublemakers... that is the weakness. We have pretty much run out of time and we just have to go with what you have.
Most of your PDF file for the lecture is not public. You can summarize the lectures as well. No final PDF file for exercise 2 and 3. You can summarize the feedback into paragraph.
Week 8:
Mr Shamsul said that the artwork looks gothic, change the font size smaller, 18 pt is the largest and make sure the collateral relates to the artwork.General Feedback:

REFLECTION
Experience:
Week 7: I experienced that I still have much to learn at typography.
Week 8: Stressing out would not help with anything, I should go with the flow.
Week 8: Stressing out would not help with anything, I should go with the flow.
Week 9: Making poster is not easy.
Observation:
Week 7: I observed that I over complicate my ideas.
Week 8: Stress is not helping.
Week 8: Stress is not helping.
Week 9: Black and White is gothic.
Finding:
Week 7: I found that I got the meaning but it's hard to get the ideas.
Week 8: Having a clear mind is relaxing.
Week 9: A poster needs to have the right point size to read information.
The weeks were hectic, I did not have a clear mind that week. Taking a break and deep breathing helps relax my mind and I am still not good at making posters but I am still trying. After what I have went through, I cannot stop there and just have to keep going.

Fig. 12: Different Types of T-shirt Printing Methods: With Details by Heat Press Guide |
This helps me to identify the methods of printing for my t-shirt. I found it helpful because it gives detail explanation of the methods. There are five methods of printing, which are screen printing, direct to garment (DTG) technique, sublimation printing CAD cut vinyl printing, transfer paper method.
Screen printing is the most preferred printing method for mass production while DTG technique in the name is to directly print on the garment. Then, sublimation printing works best with oversize printing but need a 100% polyester fabric. CAD cut vinyl printing is using heat press method. It works well with small design such as slogan, small graphics and words. Finally, transfer paper method printed on a transfer paper then use a heat press machine to transfer it onto the fabric. It is originally used to add decorative details to ceramics.
